Wolves through to Herts final four

Wolves powered their way into the Herts League Division Two play-offs with a 96-54 home victory against Hatfield Magic on Wednesday evening.

Led by La'Quarne Sayles' 21 points, Wolves never looked back after 22-9 second period saw them extend a four point first period lead to 39-22 at half-time. A 21-12 third period saw Wolves within touching distance of the semi-finals before they wrapped things up with a 36-20 fourth quarter.

Academy captain Jack Davies added 16 points, with Bill Irvine scoring 15, Dan Konstadinov ten and Larry Clark nine.

Wolves will now face either Hemel Wolves or Stevenage Rebels on a date to be announced next week.
